About The Consultations
One of the things I really like to do is tailor make your training program to suit you and your horse individually. It doesn’t matter what your future goals are, your level of knowledge, choice of discipline, how old you are or how old your horse is, there is always a way we can make plans to move forward.
Consultations are a great option when you’ve first purchased a horse or you are wanting to purchase a horse as I can save you so much time and money by taking a lot of the guess work away.
Let me come to you. We can discuss where your concerns lie, what your goals are and what it is that will truly make you and your horse happy together.
You can also come to me at Mount George if you don’t have facilities. We have an indoor round pen available for assessment of your horse and both an indoor and outdoor arena if required.
Consultation
Kellie Summers has a way of teaching her students that keeps them feeling confident and comfortable. You do not have to do anything you don’t want to do and you will be made to feel safe and relaxed in an encouraging yet gently critiquing manner.
For all initial consults I allow a 1.5 hour session. This gives us plenty of time to discuss your current horse situation, thoughts, goals and expectations for training in an honest and non judgemental way. I’m here to help, not to harshly criticise.
Kellie aims to create partnerships between horse and rider and is looking for kind and gentle riders and handlers to start their horse journey with her.

Cancellation & Reschedule Policy
A non refundable booking fee of $33 is charged at time of booking your consultation. Balance is payable the day before the consultation.
If you need to reschedule I am happy to do so as long as you give me more than 24 hours notice so I can possibly rebook your spot. $33 booking fee is transferable if re booked within 1 month of original booking. Cancelation or postponement of consultation with less than 24 hours notice means your $33 is forfeited.
